Kristin Fisher has joined CNN in July 2021, as CNN's Space and Defense Correspondent. She covers all aspects of space, including NASA as well as Space Force, Space Force and commercial space companies, to the emergence of space tourism. Kristin is the daughter two NASA Astronauts. Kristin has grown up in the world of space and covered the Trump and Biden Administration space policies for FOX News as White House Correspondent. While there, she also covered two presidential impeachment trials and the presdiential 2020 campaign and two administration's attempts to control the coronavirus pandemic. Kristin travelled frequently, and both with the president and vice-president. The reporter even took an extremely secret trip to Afghanistan together with Donald Trump. Kristin has worked in the local news markets of Grand Junction, Colorado, Little Rock, Arkansas, and Washington, D.C. for more than a decade prior to joining the CBS network. She was awarded the Emmy Award in Washington, D.C. as an CBS affiliate's single-man reporter. Kristin's skills as a camerawoman has led her to create Field Mouse Films which specialized in making documentaries for corporate clients such as Uber Hotels & Resorts and Starwood Hotels & Resorts. Kristin received her Bachelor of Science degree in journalism from Boston University. Kristin is married with a daughter, and her three-year-old son in Washington, D.C.
